CORRELATION
Whole blood samples collected by venipuncture were centrifuged. The obtained plasma were then analyzed by Shanghailanyi Glucose AUTO STATE .The correlation coefficient and regression are as follows:

TEST PROCEDURE
READ THE RESPECTIVE OPERATING MANUAL CAREFULLY FOR DETAILS.
Basic instructions for the use of the Blood Meters are described below. For detailed directions, see the respective Operating Manual.
CODING METER
For the correct results, you must check the number printed on the foil packet of strips and calibrate your meter according to it .For each test, check the code number on the LCD with the code number on the foil packet of test strips.
BLOOD GLUCOSE TEST
Open the bag of the strips, remove strip from the bag
NOTE:
Use the strip within 3 minutes after opening.
INSERT TEST STRIP
Insert the end of test strips, contact bars facing up, into the test port of your meter. Push the strip in firmly until it stops. The meter turns on, the symbol of a drop of blood twinkles on the display and the code number appears on the display.
If the code number on the meter’s LCD window matches the code number on the bag of trips, you can go to next step. If the two code numbers do not match, calibrate your meter.
OBTAIN A DROP OF BLOOD
Obtain a drop of blood from your finger using lancet device
APPLY BLOOD
Collect a drop of blood by using a lancing device. Touch the tip of the Test Strip to the drop of blood. The Test Strip will automatically draw blood into the reaction chamber and the Test Meter starts measuring.
NOTE:
If the Test Strip is not filled with blood sufficiently, a correct test result may not be obtained. See the figure at right for the required blood volume and perform the test properly.
RECORD THE TEST RESULT
The test result (blood glucose level) will be displayed in 25 seconds.
Lo will be displayed when the glucose level is below 40 mg/dL (2.2mmol/L).
Hi will be displayed when the glucose level is above 500 mg/dL(27.8mmol/L). | | | |
